About This Site

Welcome to PEI West. The purpose of this site is to help draw attention to the beauty of the area by showcasing pictures taken within the boundaries of Western Prince Edward Island. The island is relatively small. At it’s widest point the Island is only 64 kilometers (40 miles) wide. This means that many of the more scenic areas involve seascapes.

The beauty can be inspiring that is why each picture is accompanied by a either a verse of poetry or a quote. Not everyone is inspired by the same poem or by the same picture but we hope that you will find enough of both to make your visit worthwhile. New Pictures will be added all the time so please visit often.
